Location: Fairmount Subdivision
is located off Joseph Howe Drive in the City of Halifax about 12 kms to
downtown.
Age of houses: Houses vary from brand new or almost new to 40-50 years
old. Advantages: Short drive to downtown Halifax. Most amenities,including
3 of metro's largest shopping centers, are within walking or short driving
distance. One public school, Springvale Elementary and one private school,
Halifax Christian Academy located in the subdivision.One end of the subdivision
backs on Ashburn Golf Course. Style of housing available: A mixture
of older and newer houses that are typically one or two storey. Large executive
to smaller homes. Most styles are found here. Some of the streets
in the area: Springvale, Arlington, Downs, Piers, Samuel Terrace, Brook,
White Glove, Doull, Botany
