Location: Forest Hills is located on the outer edge of Dartmouth close to Colby Village.
Age of houses: Houses here range from houses built in early 1980's to brand new.
Advantages: Excellent community. Schools are nearby. Shopping and most amenities a short drive away. Considered one of Dartmouth's best areas.
Style of housing available: There is a wide selection of homes available including semi-detached, bungalow, split entry, side split and two story homes. There are smaller homes to medium size homes. Some new housing is available here.
Schools: Forest Hills covers a large territory and as a result there are several different schools that service the area. Check the Hfx Regional School Board address search page for schools for individual streets at http://www.hrsb.ns.ca/contact/schools/address/
Some of the streets in the subdivision: There are many streets in this large area. The area includes most of both sides of Forest Hills Parkway. Streets include Nestor, Flying Cloud, Cranberry, Hibernia Court etc on one side and Auburn. Taranaki, John Stewart etc on the other side.
