Location: Located a few minutes west of Halifax
off exit 3 Hwy. 103. St. Margaret's Bay Road about 20 kms from downtown
Halifax.
Age of houses: Many of the houses were built in early 1990's but some
in the area were built in 1970's and 1980's. Advantages: Small subdivision of nicely kept homes. Beechville
Lakeside Timberlea(BLT) Elementary School is located adjacent to the subdivision
with a pathway to the school from the subdivision. Ridgecliff Middle School
is located a short drive from subdivision. Few minutes to metro's largest
and most popular shopping at Bayer's Lake. Short commute of 20 to 25 minutes
to downtown Halifax. Small lake in the subdivision called Half Mile Lake
as well as a ball field, playground and tennis court. Style of housing available: Detached and semi-detached two storey
and split entry style homes.Mixture of older and newer. Some new homes
available as of Dec 2005. Some houses back on Half Mile Lake. Some of the streets: Brentwood, Sugar Maple, Mountain Maple, Silver
Maple, Tiger Maple, Maplewood, Yoon Schools: Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Elementary (Grade
P-5), Ridgecliff Middle School (Grades 6-9), Sir John A. McDonald (Grades
10-12)
