Location: Kingswood is located off
the Hammonds Plains Road about 5 kms from Bedford and 20 kms to Halifax.It is the closest subdivision to Halifax and Bedford in Hammonds Plains.
Advantages: Easy commute to Halifax (20-25 kms). New in 2005 Elementary
School in the subdivision. Large treed lots of an acre or more. Only subdivision
in Hammonds Plains with municipal water (not all streets have it but many
do). Several lakes in the subdivision for swimming, boating and ice skating.
Easy drive to Bedford which is only 5 kms from entrance to subdivision.
Excellent resale. Age of houses: Houses here were built from early 1990's to present.
New houses available in Kingswood North. Style of housing available: Mid to large size houses of all styles.
Many split entry and two storey homes. Several homes with lake frontage
in the area. Over 1000 houses in the area as of fall 2005. Some of the streets in subdivision: Kingswood, St George Boulevard,
Lakefront, Roupen,Mathew,Long Lake, Lisa,Brenda,Ramar,Morall,Diana,Anahid,Cresco.Virginia.
In Kingswood North some streets are Gatehouse, Magnate,Baroness Close,
Viscount Schools: Kingswood Elementary P-6(in subdivision), Madelaine Symonds
Middle School 7-9, CP Allen High 10-12.
