OAKRIDGE SUBDIVISION |

| Oakridge Subdivision is located off the Rocky Lake Road in
Bedford close to Sunnyside Mall. The subdivision consists of a combination
of link homes (which are smaller two storey homes that attached to another
link home only at the footing ) and split entry or bungalow homes that have
legal basement apartments. These houses are 7 years old or newer and generally
consist of a livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and half bath on the main floor.
The second floor will have 3 bedrooms and 1 or 2 baths and the basement
will have a familyroom and possibly a 4th bedroom. The plans vary but most
have this plan. The homes with apartments( not shown in picture) are generally priced from $130,000-$150,000 but seldom come on the market. They consists of a three bedroom apartment on each floor. The major advantage of Oakridge is the close proximity to schools. Waverly Road Elementary is next door to the subdivision and can be accessed through a path to it. Bedford Junior High School and C.P. Allen High School are both within walking distance. Also a short walk away is Bedford Place and Sunnyside Mall as well as all amenities in downtown Bedford. Oakridge is mainly a young family area but has residents of all ages. |
