Location: The subdivision is located at the farthest end of Sackville from Halifax, between Fall River and Beaverbank about 6-7 kms to the main highway and downtown Lower Sackville. Rivendale is connected to the Monarch Estates Subdivision in Beaverbank.
Age of houses: Most houses were built in 2002 to 2010.
Advantages: Elementary school located in Monarch Estates subdivision which is connected to Rivendale. Soccer field and playground at school site. Large country style lots. Most homes have municipal water. Feels like country but you are only a few minutes to downtown Sackville. 5 minute drive to #101 highway to Halifax, Dartmouth and Bedford.
Style of housing available: Only single family detached houses available here including split entry, side split and two storey homes.

Schools: Monarch Drive Elementary P-6(in adjoining subdivision), Harold T Barrett Junior High 7-8, Lockview High School-9-12.
