Location: The subdivision is located off the Bedford Hwy. just before Bedford when coming from Halifax. It is about 20 kms to downtown Halifax.
Description: Royale Hemlocks and Highland Ridge Subdivisions are attached and it is hard to know when you are leaving one and entering the other. Part of the subdivision backs on a 197 acre wooded park called Hemlock Ravine. Several playgrounds in subdivision. One on Transom Drive has tennis courts and the plan is to have a soccer field as well. Exit to the #102 Hwy from the subdivision at top of Larry Uteck Drive. Metro Transit bus to downtown Halifax comes right into the subdivision. Pharmasave Drug Store, Goodlife Fitness gym, Medical clinic, Sobeys grocery store and Tim Horton's built in subdivision close to exit to #102 hwy and more commercial to come.
Style of housing available: All single family detached houses are available here . Mostly two storey homes. Many larger two storey homes available in this area. Also semi-detached, townhouse and condominiums in the area.
