|
The schools in Clayton Park are well respected and have excellent teachers. The facilities are getting old and in some cases overcrowded but are still very good facilities. A new P-9 school has recently been completed in the area which has state of the art everything. Duc Danville and Clayton Park Junior High are across a playing field from each other. All children in the area attend Halifax West for grades 10-12. This school is located in Halifax but was closed because of poor air quality. A new school is presently under construction but in the meantime children are being bussed to a school in Forest Hills in Dartmouth. This is only temporary until the new school is built. Below is a description of the Clayton Park Schools. |
