The Beechville Lakeside Timberlea (BLT) school system consists of one elementary school that is operated out of two schools located next to each other, one middle school, one junior high school and one high school. All children attend the same schools from grades primary to 12. For grades primary to 5 they attend the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea School that is located in Greenwood Heights Subdivision on James Street. For grades 6 to grade 9 they attend Ridgecliff Middle School which was built in 1999 and is located in Beechville Estates Subdivision. For high school all the children are bussed to Tantallon to Sir John A MacDonald High School which was built in 2006.

The school system is constantly changing throughout metro. Boundaries are often changed and periodically schools are closed.
