Location: Silversides Subdivision is located in Waverley just off the Waverley Road towards Dartmouth,Nova Scotia. It is about 25 kms from downtown Halifax and about 10 kms to Dartmouth. Waverley is located next to Fall River Nova Scotia and shares it's amenities including Junior and Senior High Schools and some local shopping..
Age of houses: Houses here range from houses built in late 1970's and early 1980's
Advantages: The subdivision has it's own private beach on Lake William which is a beautiful large lake that you can power boat or sail on. There is a park in the subdivision called Silversides Nature Park that has some playground equipment, basketball nets, soccer field and more. The lots are large and beautifully treed. All lots have municipal water so there are no wells to worry about. (Note; all lots do have septic. There is no municipal sewer in the subdivision). Relatively close to schools. Well established popular area.
Style of housing available: Many contemporary style cedar homes in the area. There is also a wide selection of homes available including bungalow, split entry, side split and two story homes. There are smaller homes to medium size homes.
