Shopping in Beechville/ Timberlea

There is limited shopping right in the area that would include convenience stores, fast food, some grocery and other small specialty stores.

Many of the residents of the area shop at Bayers Lake Park which is only a few minute drive away.  Excellent shopping in the city of Halifax is also only a short drive away. There is also some shopping in Tantallon which about 15 minutes away.

Bayers Lake Park

One of the most popular shopping districts in the Halifax Regional Municipality is Bayer's Lake. This shopping area is located just outside Halifax  off the #102 Hwy. It is very popular with the people who live in Beechville/ Timberlea because it is so close. The big box stores such as Costco, Winner's, Staples, Futureshop, Home Depot, Old Navy, Wal-Mart, Homesense, Target, Marshalls and many others are found here. This is one of the fastest growing shopping areas in all of Nova Scotia with new stores opening all the time .
