Location: The subdivision is located
at the end of Hammonds Plains Road, not far from St. Margaret's Bay, about
25 kms from the edge of Halifax city limits and 15 kms to Bedford. Located
behind the Hubley Center
Shopping Center and St.
Margaret's Bay Community Center . This subdivision was built around
1995. This subdivision is well located close to shopping and Exit 5 to
the 103 to Halifax.
Advantages: Located within walking to shopping, rink, outdoor community
pool and restaurants. Close to exit to Halifax. Age of houses: Houses here were built from 1995 to present. New
construction still available in the subdivision. Style of housing available: All single family detached houses are
available here including split entry, side split and two storey homes.
Many larger two storey homes available in this area. Some of the streets in the subdivision: Westwood, Hemlock, High
Timber,Winslow,Summit,Wildstone,Parklyn,Homewood, Tattingstone,Juneberry,
Chokecherry, Drummlin Schools:.P-6 Tantallon Elementary, 7-9 Five Bridges Junior High
, 10-12 Sir John A. MacDonald High . ( Note: Schools are different for
Westwood Hills and Haliburton Hills than much of Hammonds Plains.) The
children attend totally different schools than the children in Kingswood,
White Hills and Glen Arbour.
